People with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, friends and professionals who work with them
The Arc of Hunt County is affiliated with The Arc of Texas and The Arc of the United States. The Arc is the oldest and largest non-profit volunteer organization in the nation serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It is a grass roots organization with members affiliated through chapters across the country. The Arc has been instrumental in obtaining programs, benefits, services and rights for the persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Today, The Arc of Hunt County continues to advocate for the inclusion and acceptance of persons with disabilities throughout our community.
Special Olympics track and field meet will be April 25, 2009 in Bonham, from 9:30 am until about 2 pm.
The Crystal Ball, a formal dance and meal, will be held May 8 in the evening at the Greenville Civic Center. Cost for tickets is $15. For more information call Barb Thompson at 903-455-0024.
